Dream Incubation – Conscious Dreaming
History
Dream incubation is an ancient practice used by Egyptians, Greeks, and other early civilizations to solve problems or receive guidance through dreams. Conscious dreaming, or lucid dreaming, has been practiced in various cultures as a way of intentionally shaping or guiding one’s dream experiences for personal insight or healing.
Description
Dream incubation involves setting an intention or asking for guidance before sleep, with the hope that the answer will come through in a dream. Conscious dreaming refers to lucid dreaming, where the dreamer becomes aware that they are dreaming and can influence the dream. Both practices are used for personal insight, problem-solving, or spiritual exploration.
