Access Consciousness (Access Bars)
History
Access Consciousness, including the Access Bars technique, was founded in the 1990s by Gary Douglas in the United States. It is part of the broader Access Consciousness movement, which promotes increased awareness and removing personal limitations. Access Bars was created to release stored energy associated with limiting thoughts and emotions.
Description
Access Bars is a form of energy healing that involves 32 energy points, or “bars,” located around the head. Each bar is connected to various areas of life, such as creativity, money, healing, and control. By gently touching these points, practitioners believe they can release mental, emotional, and energetic blockages. A typical session lasts between 60 to 90 minutes, where clients lie down and the practitioner applies gentle touch to specific points.
Shilpa’s Role
Shilpa, as a practitioner of Access Bars, facilitates the process by gently touching the 32 energy points on the head to release blocked energy. She does not diagnose or give therapeutic advice but instead allows clients to access their own awareness and healing. Through guided touch and questions like “What else is possible?”, Shilpa helps clients open up to new possibilities and gain mental clarity. Her goal is to assist in clearing limiting beliefs, fostering personal freedom and consciousness.
